Rihanna has emerged as one of the most popular fashion icons. However, when she stepped out in New York on Saturday (April 2, 2016), she paid tribute to the late Princess Diana, whom she once declared her fashion icon in an interview. However, 28 year old pop sensation’s choice of ensemble, which was in line with her usual quirky and outrageous outfits, was far removed from late British socialite’s choice of fashion, which could be described as classy, elegant and understated.
Slouchy Top, Daisy Dukes and Leather Jacket
Rihanna gave her customary and signature raunchy look to her edgy casual ensemble by wearing super tiny daisy duke shorts. In fact, her denim shorts were so small that they were barely visible under her baggy tee. The shorts helped her tease generous flesh and drew attention to her toned legs. She paired her shorts with baggy black top Princess Diana’s face printed in the middle. Her title ‘Princess of Wales’ was printed above the picture and below her birth and death years, 1961-1997 were mentioned. She rounded of her fierce and sexy ensemble by draping sleek leather jacket over her shoulders.
Long Denim Boots
She completed her risque ensemble by donning sky thigh denim boots, which almost covered her legs up to her upper thighs. Her ultra-edgy boots helped draw attention to her lithe legs and were almost the focal point of her look.
Rihanna added edgy shades with gold rims to her unique ensemble. She had her lustrous brunette locks pulled back so that the focus would rest on her stylish sunglasses. She also wore sunglasses bit low on her nose, giving a glimpse of her polished eye makeup.
Gold Choker, Necklace, Bracelets, Earrings and Rings
In terms of jewelry, she went completely berserk. She wore a gleaming gold choker and paired it with a glittering sleek necklace with chunky cross pendant. She wore couple of fashionable bracelets on her wrists and had couple of rings on her fingers as well.
Rihanna opted for dramatic make up for her casual outing on Saturday. She slicked her lips with glossy brown lipstick and sported brown hued blush. She also wore shadowy mascara.
