Deepak Jagbir Hooda is an Indian cricketer who represents India in international cricket and has played for various IPL teams in different seasons. He is a batting all-rounder who bats right-handed and bowls right-arm off break.
Born in Rohtak, Haryana, Deepak started playing domestic cricket for Baroda in 2012.
From 2014 to 2015, he played with the Indian Premier League (IPL) team Rajasthan Royals.
From 2016 to 2019, Deepak was a part of the Sunrisers Hyderabad, an IPL team.
In November 2017, Deepak was included in the Indian squad for their T20I series against Sri Lanka.
In December 2018, Deepak Hooda was included in the Indian team for the 2018 ACC Emerging Teams Asia Cup.
Hooda scored his debut double century in first-class cricket during the 2016–17 Ranji Trophy while playing for Baroda.
In 2014, he played in the ICC Under-19 cricket world cup representing India.
Before shifting to batting all-rounder, Deepak played as a wicket-keeper batsman at the school level.
